Welcome to the EnGarde Secure Linux Wiki.
EnGarde Secure Linux, a fully open-source server-only system, provides services including Web, DNS and email simply and securely while eliminating the need for time-consuming "hardening". EnGarde builds a secure foundation by governing each and every service it offers through an SELinux access policy and then layers security through integrated intrusion detection, network security and graphical auditing and reporting. All services are securely and remotely managed through the Guardian Digital WebTool, a custom browser-based management interface. Upgrades and security patches are freely and easily obtained through the Guardian Digital Secure Network.
EnGarde Secure Linux is developed and sponsored by Guardian Digital Inc., an open source security innovator since 1999. Guardian Digital encourages community participation in the support and development of EnGarde Secure Linux.
